Natures of Statefinder Parameters and Om Diagnostic for Cardassian Universe in Ho?ava-Lifshitz Gravity

In this work, we have considered Cardassian Universe in Ho?ava-Lifshitz gravity. Four types of Cardassian Universe models i.e., polytropic/power law, modified polytropic, exponential and modified exponential models have been considered for accelerating models. The natures of statefinder parameters, deceleration parameter, Om diagnostic and EoS parameters have been investigated for all types of Cardassian models in Ho?ava-Lifshitz gravity.     

Calculations of dynamic dipole polarizabilities of Li and Na atoms in debye plasma using the model potential technique

The effects of Debye plasma on the frequency‐dependent polarizabilities of Li and Na atoms are investigated using symplectic algorithm within the framework of the pseudostate summation technique. Dynamic dipole polarizabilities of Li (2s ²S) and Na(3s ²S) as functions of scaled number density of the plasma electrons for arbitrary plasma temperature are presented. Screening effects on the resonance frequencies are also presented. In free‐atomic cases, our calculated results are comparable with the reported theoretical and experimental predictions. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.

A concise synthesis of 2-benzoyl-1-indanones and 1-indanones from 2-aryl-1-tetralones

Abstract

Methyl-2-(3-oxo-3-aryl) benzoates derived from acid catalyzed air oxidative fragmentation of 2-aryl-1-tetralones were efficiently undergone intramolecular-Claisen condensation in the presence of potassium tertiary butoxide. The resulting 2-benzoyl-1-indanones formed in two-step ring contractions were further subjected to indium triflate mediated retro-Claisen condensation to get 1-indanones.     

η-π0 mixing and ψ′ → ψπ0 decay

The ψ′ → ψπ⁰ decay rate is studied in a chiral symmetry breaking scheme by including effects from π⁰-η mixing only. The result obtained is in very good agreement with the experiment.
